The door is a thin line between the public and the private, between what is shown and what is hidden. Crossing it, even if only with imagination or with a discreet gaze, means opening up to the possibility of knowing the other in a more authentic dimension. Every home tells who lives there, every space reflects pieces of identity, desires and habits that rarely emerge in daily life.
Beyond the Door is a visual journey into the rooms of private life, into the suspended moments that define our humanity. Some people have chosen to open the doors of their homes, allowing me to capture real, spontaneous fragments.
Through photography, what is normally hidden takes shape and meaning. The project does not intend to unveil to invade, but to celebrate the complexity of the human being. Images don't tell everything: they suggest, evoke, ask questions rather than provide answers. The viewer is invited to listen, to grasp nuances, to imagine stories behind each scene.
Beyond the Door is a mirror. It invites us to reflect on what we hide behind our doors, on which rooms of our lives remain inaccessible to others. Because we all, in some way, cherish something that makes us unique and deeply human.
